    You have installed a child theme, how do I update the theme?

    Good afternoon, in my last request for help you made some changes in my theme, and also installed a child theme, but did not inform me.
    Now I have questions, how do I update the theme correctly?

    Hi mate,

    Pls follow these steps below:

    Step 1: Backup your site( Include codes + Database. If you customized something in Main theme, pls back up, then you can add again after finishing updating) and download the latest version of theme
    Step 2: From the dashboard >> Appearance >> Theme, you need to activate the default template ( Ex; Twenty Seventeen theme)
    Step 3: Click on Electronic and then click Delete ( look down in the right).
    Step 4: Return the Appearance, choose Theme >> Add New >> choose your latest theme version >> Install
    Step 5: Activate again all the required plugins.

    Pls do it then let me know the result

    Which theme download option do I use?

    Or
    Installable WordPress file only

    In the backup part, the changes made to the theme are just "Kuteshop >> Theme options >>> Backup Options"? Or are they somewhere else?
    I am not a programmer and with the programmer I had a misunderstanding about poorly done work, so I need help.

    You can download the full update package in Themeforest, unzip then you will see the latest version .zip file like this: http://prntscr.com/nmnzuj. Then, after switch into the Default theme > Delete the lower version of Kuteshop theme, then upload this zip file to your site: http://prntscr.com/nmnzxb

    For back up: If you customized any files for your site, then you must back up. Copy and paste into somewhere, and after uploading the latest version file, activating, then add again those customized files for your site

    Good afternoon, I followed the procedure as explained.
    But I have 2 problems.
    1. The message continues to update the theme. Talk to upgrade to version 3.3.1. But there is no option to download on your site.
    I download it and it only has version 3.3.0 in the file.

    2. Again after the update my images of the front end began to be transformed into rectangles, when they should be square (https://moda-favela.com/loja/) as you can see in this link.
    The images before were square.
    What do I do to prevent this from happening every time I refresh the theme?

    The images before were perfect squares, now they are rectangles.
    Right after the update appeared a warning saying that all my thumbnails were being changed, I canceled the process but a few had already been changed.

    I would like to know why this always happens when updating the theme.

    Hi,

    My coder regenerated the images for you and now it comes back with the original size. You can use plugin Regenerate Thumbnails to do this.

    So for now, pls check and let me know the reusult

    The problem can be came from the cache, setting again the size of images in Customizing, ...

    In case you see the incorrect size of images, you can use the plugin I provided you last time and regenerate the image sizes. Then the problem will be solved.

    The problem is not in the cache, since I've cleaned it several times and the images are not changed.
    This occurs only when the theme is updated.
    So it has to be some configuration that is in the theme.

    My coder said that: The previous versions of theme, we used some codes to intervent into the size of product image. However, with the current versions, we remove completely these codes so the problem will not occur anymore

    So do not worry about it.

    One more question.
    The "WPBakery Page Builder" plugin came along with the theme, it has an update, but I can not update. This message appears: "To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder" How do I do it?

    I only saw it now, but I'm still having problems with the images, now it's the product thumbnails that are rectangular, they should also be square.

    1. Update for WPBakery Page Builder: Please follow these steps below to update. If you cannot do it, pls let me know then I will help you:

    - Deactivate plugin
    - Delete plugin
    - Then you will get the message to re-install plugin. Pls re-install it then you will get the latest version of plugin.

    2. Size of thumbnail images: It belongs to another location and my coder has fixed for you in code. For now you will get this inconvenience anymore.
