    Smarty Cache - Same product category error

    We have an issue when the smarty cache is activated.

    For exemple, if the cache is desactivated (when i go on an product page, i can look the box product on the same category with many product about the same category.

    If i activate the smarty cache, i can look the list of good products only one time, and after the same product appears for all products available on the store....even if it is not the good products displayed for the current category.

    Can you check please.

    The bug exist on the latest release of Techone.

    you can see on this last screen the category related for the t-shirt. it is ok for this exemple, because it is the first product page i look, after, all next product page appear with the same product on the box "Product on the same category"

    I got feedback from coders
    He said that this does not relate to cache or category. Related products are the things that you select in back end. They will be shown as your setting. If you want to set for being seen products to be displayed in the same category the others in that position, you can use widget Products => set Category is Current category (see my attachment)

    You are wrong, on my test, we have already selected the current category on my widget Products.

    On my product page, the display of product works only if the smarty cache is not activated. If smarty is activated, we retrieve the same product list for each product page. (see my screenshoot on my previous message)

    You are an issue with the smarty cache....it is clear...

    I must activated the cache to give good user experience to my customer, i wait for the resolution of this issue please....It is very critical.

    We are going to check and send you some screenshot to tell you that displaying products in the same category does not depend on cache.
    One more thing, it is difficult for us if we cannot check your site. It is still the configuration, I think.
    If it is possible, could you provide the test site account with the bug with cache you are mentioning to. It will save the time to solve your issue

    We tested this issue on your site already. I would like to send you a video that we tested product page (related products and Products in the same category) with smarty cache and without using smarty cache. Products still display correctly.
    I will share to your email above. I would like to make sure that the displaying products does not relate to cache

    If the smarty cache is activated, the list load only one time for the first product you view, and after all next products display the same information on the box same product category..........

    Look on my site please, and do the test, i will do the test twenty times, and the issue appears each times.....

    I wait for the correction about smarty cache. We have also the same error for the box "bestsellers", etc....

    I and my colleagues checked your site so many times with the different computers to make sure that the cache is not saved just in my computer. And we got the same result that the products display correctly with their categories.

    If you are still getting this, please send me the link of the product that displays incorrectly with its category. I will try with enable / disable cache in your site

    another one...

    You have the same content for the box in French => "Produits de la même catégorie" => product on the same categorie
    Normaly we must display only product related to the current category.....and it is not the case....

    Please, i wait since one month....resolve this big issue...

    If you stop the smarty cache, and you return on all product url stated above, you can see the good list, if you put smarty cache at on, the first cache regeneration is used for all products on the site.....
