    Update help

    Hello,

    I just recently received my updated theme via email. I have added products to my theme and have made some modifications.

    I would like to ask, how can I update the theme without losing my products or modifications?

    To update the TechOne theme:
    Step 1: Backup your site( Include codes + Database)
    Step 2: From the dashboard>>Appearance>>Theme, you need to activate the default template( Ex; Twenty Seventeen theme)
    ( you can refer this document, it's the same http://test.kutethemes.net/koolshop_doc/#mazanoupdate)
    Step 3: Click on TechOne and then click Delete( look down in the right). NOTE: DO NOT delete the TechOne-Child
    Step 4: Return the dashboard choose Plugins then deactive the TechOne Toolkit, Slider Revolution, WPBakery Visual Composer and delete them.
    Step 5: Return the Appearance menus choose Theme>>Add New>>choose your latest theme version>>Install
    Step 6: Return the Plugins menus>>New>>and choose the TechOne Toolkit (Slider Revolution, WPBakery Visual Composer plugins are the same)>>Install>>and activate them. Please do it and let me know.

    Thank you for your detailed response.

    I had two problems:

    1 - How do I back up the site with the codes and data base?
    2 - I don't have the Techone-child. What do I do about it?

    - About backup issue, you can refer the duplicator plugin, it's a good plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
    - About the child theme, it included in the TechOne's package, it has downloaded at the http://themeforest.net/download. When you install TechOne theme, you should install the TechOne-Child theme because if you have any changed you can edit at the child theme and your changed won't be lost when theme updated in the future.

    I have successfully updated my theme but there is one problem.

    The Bottom of the website has disappeared. I have attached the image.

    In your case, did you add footer at the dashboard>>TeachOne>>Theme Options>>Footer Settings yet? If it does not work,please provide your Admin login + FTP accounts deatails via secret information area. I will check and help you.
